The unlikely West Ham United supporter Russell Brand, made rather a fool of himself yesterday, when an over-optimistic Twitter post blew up in his face.
At around 8am on Sunday, Brand posted the following:
“Going to see West Ham vanquish Spurs and stop this silly excitement gurgling from the Lane then OASIS in ESSEX. How could today improve?”
Well how about West Ham not losing to Spurs having been 1-0 up and Oasis not cancelling their appearance at the V Festival?
