On This Day In Spurs History: 30th March

1968 – Tottenham thrash Burnley 5-0, thanks to two goals from Jimmy Greaves and strikes from Mike England, Terry Venables and Cliff Jones.

1996 – Spurs beat Coventry 3-1 at White Hart Lane, with two goals from Ruel Fox and one from Teddy Sheringham. It would prove to be our last home win of the season.

2008 – Paul Robinson plays his last game for the club as we somehow lose 4-1 at home to Newcastle. See you next season Barcodes.

Spurs In The News: 30th March

The Sun confirms that Spurs have declined Portsmouth’s request to be able to field Jamie O’Hara in the FA Cup semi final. Harry goes on to mention how Jamie will be back at Spurs next season. The truth or more of Harry’s waffle?

The Daily Mail reports that Monaco want Eidur Gudjohnsen back next season.

Today’s edition also features that rare thing in the Daily Mail; a story which doesn’t make me incredibly angry. Michael Dawson will be fit to play against Sunderland.

  1. I hate the mail but then again their editor is a gooner, get rid of him, if we all blanked the daily mail, as Liverpool supporters do the Sun, then the Mail would soon get rid of this Tottenham hating Goon.
