1985 – Spurs draw 1-1 with West Ham at Upton Park with Ossie Ardiles scoring our goal.

1991 – Gary Lineker scores twice as Spurs beat Southampton 2-0 just prior to a certain semi-final against our North London neighbours.

Only The Mirror have any interest in Spurs today. They report that Juventus want Gareth Bale. I don’t think that they could afford him.

They also claim that we are watching Rangers’ 18-year old central defender Danny Wilson.

  1. If this rumour is true about our Bale being sold to bolster our team, and Harry goes ahead with it, many spurs fans will turn on him.Here we have a natural skillfull left sided player, id rather modders goes than Bale,surely if we make cl, it will be suicidal to let him go, fss.
