Today In Spurs History: April 8th
1901 – Tottenham beat West Bromwich Albion 4-0 in the FA Cup semi-final, with ‘Sandy’ Brown scoring all four goals. Southern League Spurs would beat Sheffield United in the final.
1967 – Spurs are lucky to force a goalless draw away at Birmingham, after it appeared that Pat Jennings had dropped the ball over the line for a late goal. Tottenham would win the replay at White Hart Lane and go on to win the cup.
