It seems there are two things you have achieve in your career to be linked with Spurs these days:
• Have played under Harry at Portsmouth
• Have appeared alongside Rafael van der Vaart in the past.
Into category number 2 comes Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. His career path narrowly missed Rafa’s at Ajax, but they have played together at Real Madrid.
The link, having appeared now for several transfer windows seemed quiet this time round. However the Star on Sunday, which also carried the £100m Bale & Luka to Real Madrid ‘sensation’, linked us with a move for Huntelaar again.
Now 27, he’s currently at Schalke 04, who are apparently a bit short of cash. Who else is there to take advantage of this situation but Harry Redknapp?
Huntelaar is still scoring goals at a decent rate, but after supposedly snubbing Spurs in the past would he be welcome at the Lane and can he do it in the Premier League?

Why bother even posting this rubbish? Nothing like recycling old garbage to get people to look at your website.
Don’t know how this ended, stopped reading at “the star on sunday”…
NO ONE OF ANY GREAT NOTE HAS KEPT THIS GUY LONGER THAN 90 MINUTES , WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM AT A DECENT LEVEL HE CAN`T SEEM TO CUT IT FORGET IT HARRY LET THIS ONE GET AWAY !
Yet another media spec. aticle to raise our expectations. I don’t know why I am responding!
Why don’t u f off and write this $hit in ur own country?? Or learn our grammar? Or how to spell-check? kin journalism. Good job it’s on a hard-drive. If on paper, I wouldn’t wipe my ass with this.
Ironically, whilst you say that Huntelaar is scoring goals at a decent rate (7 in 17 apps), it is actually a lower goals per minute rate than Pav’s record this season (1 goal per 180 mins). Whilst often selling out their 60,000+ stadium, they certainly should not be short of cash.
feckin gaybos stop writing this feckin ship ,you ship feck
the guffer (Harry) knows beta. he may giv spurs a different option.
