A no win situation for Spurs

by Matthew Harris on January 31, 2011

We never can say goodbye: Or so it seems as two more players leave the Lane on loan, with a permanent departure only a faint hope resting in the minds of the most deluded West Ham fans.

Robbie Keane packed his boot collection and headed across to Upton Park, where he will remain on loan until the end of the season. The deal will become permanent if West Ham stay up, so expect him back at Spurs Lodge by the end of May. It’s almost enough to make you want them to stay up. Talk about a no win situation…

After a promising pre-season, Robbie has barely featured in this campaign. Even if he is back, it seems unlikely that he will ever be a permanent fixture in the side again. For some, his second spell at the club took away some of the happy memories from his first shift, but his record is up there with some of the great Spurs players of the past.

Another player on his way is Jamie O’Hara. Jamie has been playing at Spurs Lodge and has proved his fitness enough to secure a loan deal to Wolves.

These two could well be the last to leave today although there have been suggestions that some clubs may be back in for Niko Kranjcar. We shall see…

it will be alright if he scores a hat full, but they still get relegated then someone else will come in with a half decent bid
