Some good news on the team front has come for Spurs with confirmation that Michael Dawson’s suspension following his sending off last week, is for one game and not three.
Given our injury problems at the back, Dawson is likely to walk straight back into the team and his defensive partner will probably be William Gallas, although a return for Jonathan Woodgate hasn’t been ruled out.
Definitely absent are Luka Modric, Steven Pienaar, Tom Huddlestone, Younes Kaboul and Ledley King. There has been a suggestion that Gareth Bale may return, but this looks a slim chance.
Dawson and Gallas will be looking to shackle the dangerous Daniel Sturridge who scored on his debut in the week. This is the team we think will play tomorrow. Who do you think will start?
Can we play with no strikers? They’re both so bad. At least put Pav in there!!

Pienaar is fully fit and available so think he’ll start… I’d go for … Gomes, Hutton, Dawson, Gallas, Bae, Lennon, palacios, Van der varrt, Pienaar, Pav, Crouch … Play defoe at left back….. ( left back in the changing room ) 😉
Dawson is still suspended my man. I would be tempted to give pav a game instead of defoe or start him with defoe.
Hopefully bale is back as we NEED him.

I just hope Pav gets a run.Bolton are always tough to beat,and quite often have spoilt Tottenhams day.Lets hope that our strikers can at last find the back of the net,as it is starting to get frustrating watching their efforts come to nothing.I would be quiet happy to have anather 1-0 win,with all our present injury problems.Daveis is a handful at the best of times,so Im hoping our back 4 are on song for this one.

Has to be Pav or why didn’t we sell the poor bastard.Yes, 2 in 24 is way better than 1 in 23 but it is still awful.Blessing in disguise that Modric is out,far too much individual crap with no end product and very ordinary stats(he really needs to play for a proper coach) and he’s horrible at defending.
i really hope he starts with Pav and Crouch! Pav gets shots unlike Defoe, so play Pav!
