Michael Dawson has spoken of his disappointment at Tuesday’s result at Blackpool. During the course of this season, Spurs have been known for some great counter attacking football, but Daws acknowledged that Blackpool beat us at our own game.
Speaking on the club website Dawson said: “We are bitterly disappointed with the goals we gave away and obviously not putting a few in the back of the net at the other end.
“The first one was a penalty and with the second we were on the attack and they broke away. It is normally us doing that to teams but they did it to us.
“We’ve got ten days now to think about it and as players you look at performances and results – but we’ve got to move on. It was a disappointing night, but credit to Blackpool.”
Before the Blackburn game, I suppose we’d have taken 9 points out of 12 and although this was a poor result, perhaps we should agree with Daws to leave it behind now and think of it as our ‘Burnley’ from last season.
we’ve already had several burnley’s (WBA, WIGAN, WEST HAM…)

too many dropped point against the lesser teams. We would have beaten all of these teams if we had a genuinely world class striker. I can’t understand why some people would prefer us to buy sensibly when we are facing down the barrel of not qualifying for the champions league here. We should have panic buyed and taken Suarez or Carroll. Look at our goal difference, there is something fundamentally wrong with our team when we play the most exciting football in the league but yet cannot score lots of goals.
Hahahahaha…. 3-1? hahahaha… title? hahahhaha… CL spot? hahahaha dream on!
