Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has been boosted by the return to full training by Tom Huddlestone who has been missing for four months with an ankle injury.

The official Spurs website quotes Harry as saying: “Tom’s a fantastic footballer and it’s great to have him back training.

“We’ve two weeks now where we can really work with him and hopefully get him ready for the next game. There is no reason why he shouldn’t make that with a fortnight’s training.

“Sandro has done well and we’ve JJ, Wilson, they are all good players and Tom is another good player, so it’s good to have him back.”

So Tom could feature in some way in the match against Wigan on April the 2nd – maybe from the bench, but don’t be surprised if Harry pitches him straight into battle.

  1. Oh Yes said Churchill and Davspurs . I have bean counting the days till Thunderman came back, and of all the players we have had missing this lad is the most important. We lost the ball passing a staggering 26 times against West Ham. I would beany money if Tom was playing this would have bean halved of that i’ am certain. This is what we have missed he can switch play with a fast missile pass with backspin up to 50 yards he can get Lennon or Behind defences he can get Defoe running on through balls in the scoring Zone between defenders and the Goalkeeper ,and lastly hit a thunderbolt shot and sometimes score oh and help in defence. Well come Back Big Man our scoring starts prove we knead you fully fit for our super run in.
