Everybody knows where Stoke are going to be dangerous tomorrow and Spurs’ defence will have many players to keep an eye out for. It’s not just Rory Delap’s long throws that cause problems and in Matthew Etherington and Jermaine Pennant, the Potters have two players capable in sending over deadly accurate set pieces.
It’s no surprise at all when you look at where Stoke’s goals have come from this season to see central defenders on the scoresheet on a regular basis and in fact, their second leading scorer is Robert Huth. The former Chelsea and Middlesbrough man is a fans’ favourite at the Britannia Stadium and his eight goals this season just underline where Stoke are at their most potent.
Forget about his defending for a moment, Huth is brave coming forward and is an awkward player who is a handful in the opponent’s box. He seems to have been around for a while now but is still only 26, so should be just coming into his prime.
Like any side who come up against Stoke, Tottenham will be looking to give away as few free kicks, corners and throw ins as possible, but when they come, Robert Huth will be the main man to watch out for.
Wow bad innit Huth as there main dangerman.
Tomorrow Id go for
Kaboul Gallas Dawson Ekotto
Sandro Hudd Modd
VDV Crouch Bale
443- Other players are more effective when Crouch plays altho he along with Defoe and Pav is crap
I think Redknapp will go
San=me GK and defence
VDV Modric Hudd Bale
Pav and Defoe
He will persist with Pav and Defoe and we will draw 0-0
Lets get one thing right here Defoe and Crouch where a partnership at Pompy and they scored 28 goals playing together last year. What has changed is piggy in the middle Van who has run out of gas when he heard a certain whisky nose was after him. This pairing with a ertain Mr Huddlestone would score goals but Harry is obsessed with 451 no good without Huddllestone and the states prove it in the enegised Premiership we needed Hudddlestone to hit these pressing teams with his long missile passes over the top of this pressing game. This information should make you think Barcelona and Real have players who got reported for energy abuse playing in the premiership at the time. The FA kept it quite because the Boss was a fan of the players team. These teams pressed us and shakctar with loads of energised defending ist rife in the premiership and Kolo Toure is not on his own so your wrong in saying Huth is a danger all 17 players are a danger just like they proved last year with a rookie keeper this is why we have the biggest relegation in Premiership History . This is because the teams are all on the same no tiring energy induced supplement and Spain has joined in with players leaving the premiership like Adebyor whose ex team mate is waiting to see his if is second sample proves he was using a substance what gives you energy.
