West Ham’s impending relegation raises more question marks about the future of Robbie Keane. The loan agreement from Spurs contains a permanent deal clause should the Hammers stay up, but with that looking less likely, a summer return to his parent club is looking probable.

A solution may have emerged on the other side of London however with QPR’s promotion to the Premier League for 2011-12. A permanent move to Loftus Road would seem to suit all sides, with Robbie staying in London and Rangers getting a man with years of Premiership experience.

As we all know, Spurs are looking to trim their squad and are aiming to end the round of loan deals for the likes of Keane and Jamie O’Hara. West Ham may not provide a home for the Republic of Ireland striker, but QPR looks like a logical solution all round.
