As far as definite departures from White Hart Lane are concerned, it seems as though the Jamie O’Hara deal to Wolves will be finally sanctioned in the next few days as he is set to join Jonathan Woodgate through the exit door.

Elsewhere though, it seems that there may be no further changes in goal, with Heurelho Gomes scheduled to stay and fight it out with Brad Friedel for the number one jersey.

Gomes had been widely tipped to rejoin PSV but their technical director Marcel Brands has suggested that the Brazilian isn’t even on the club’s radar,

“I do not count on the arrival of Gomes,” he said.

“We have our first keeper Andreas Isaksson and Gomes is still the first goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur. There are no signs that this will change.”

While the remainder of the squad jigsaw is a long way from being settled, it looks as though the goalkeeping positions may have been sorted for 2011-12.

You internet guys are all the same. How does that quote become “PSV not interested in Gomes”?
