The long protracted deal involving Jamie O’Hara was finally come to fruition with confirmation of his transfer to Wolves. The 24 year old joins on a five year deal following a loan spell with the West Midlands club for a fee worth £5m.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is certainly pleased with the deal: “Jamie made a big impact when he first came here,” he said. There was a dip in form at one juncture but he came strong again at the end.”

Jamie leaves after six years at the club but after a promising start, his appearances became more sporadic. Feelings always seemed to be mixed about the player and while some will feel he didn’t get a chance, others will say the deal represents good business on our part.

  1. Yes, not a bad deal at all. Wasn’t going to start at Spurs, played well at Wolves and wanted to leave plus the money can go towards a new striker. One of those deals that suits all parties concerned.

  2. Good luck to Jamie. If only all of the players had put in the same amount of effort as when he was on the pitch for us. A real 0-90th minute high energy player when fit. Great signing for Wolves. Surprised Jol didn’t try to go for him.
