As soon as the QPR takeover was announced in the summer, a host of Spurs players were linked with a move to West London. Ultimately, none of these transfers materialised but it’s inevitable to see further stories emerge as the January transfer window approaches.
Spurs fans will be no stranger to Roman Pavlyuchenko’s agent Oleg Artemov who has been very vocal about his client’s next move in recent weeks.
Artemov has now suggested in the Russian press that Pav has been offered to QPR
“This is true that Tottenham have turned to QPR,” Artemov told sovsport.ru.
“I know about it. The club has a right to do so as they have a contract with Roman.
“Before talking about it – if Roman wants to be a QPR player or not – we have to consider every detail. Roman hasn’t thought about it yet.”
Meanwhile, reserve keeper Heurelho Gomes has also emerged as a potential Rangers target. QPR currently have former Spur Radek Cerny between the posts and are thought to be looking at a new number one to cement their Premiership status.
Loftus Road may be an obvious destination for some of our fringe players but only time will tell if there is any substance to either of these rumours.
