The club has announced that Tom Carroll has joined Derby County on loan and will stay there until the end of the season. Tom has featured heavily in our Europa League campaign and this looks to be an ideal move for the player as Derby look to push into the play off places.
“We are delighted to welcome Tom on board. He is a highly regarded young player and we have monitored his progress for a considerable amount of time,” said Rams manager Nigel Clough.
“Tom has already played first-team football at Tottenham this season and they view him coming here as an important part of his development.”
Meanwhile, the club has also confirmed that John Bostock has been loaned to Sheffield Wednesday for the remainder of the campaign. After making a substitute appearance against Cheltenham, this is an interesting move for the player and one that Spurs fans will watch with interest as the midfielder looks to deliver on his unfulfilled potential.
I am really optimistic about our youngsters out on loan – Falque / Smith / Naughton / Caulker / Kane / Carroll / Bostock and Townsend not a bad bunch we have coming through the futures Bright the futures White COYS!!!!!
