Like most of Tottenham’s fans, William Gallas and Scott Parker have spoken out in the last couple of days of their concern that one of Spurs’ most promising season for years will end in disaster.
In their interviews, Gallas in particular doesn’t seem too confident about the club’s chances of finishing fourth or possibly higher.
“I think we have to improve a lot,” he said.
“Even if we have good players and a good squad this result shows we are not ready yet.”
William was then asked if he thought the season was in danger of falling apart.
“Yes, everybody is worried because at the beginning of the season everybody was talking about us, saying we play good football, we can finish third, we are 10 points in front of Arsenal,” he added.
“Now we are five points behind them and we have lost the semi-final. It will be difficult because Chelsea and Newcastle are behind us and, after that victory, Chelsea will be very strong. I think they will finish very well so we have to finish well as well.”
The French international maintained however that the question of Harry Redknapp’s future had not been a distraction.
“His priority has been to get the team to qualify for the Champions League. So when the people start to speak about him for the national team he came to the dressing room and said: ‘Guys, I am very focused on the Champions League and that’s it’.”

  1. You keep reminding us Rotten, make sure your consistent though and not some part timer!

If you lose that 3rd spot, make sure your still talking sh*t and you may get a little respect, even though I don’t remember you commenting on our blogs this season until you overtook us, Strange!

I’m sure you saw what happened last night, and enjoyed our recent decline with pleasure, but make sure you take the most important fact from both, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!

    • Rotten is clearly starting to worry, he usually says ‘MIND THE FUKIN GAP’. Today’s lack of obscenities have calmed us all.

I haven’t been too bothered about finishing above Arsenal in all honestly, but every time idiots like ‘Rotten-ham Hot-pussy’ (as he usually likes to call himself) comment on this blog, it spurs me on a little. Maybe we should show his comments to our players? It could help..

  2. Problem is Steve, do our players really care.

Saturday will be a real big eye opener to as how much our players really want it.

I hope the players do read this because I can’t count how many times, I’ve said this is our biggest game of our season, Arsenal at there place, Chelsea at there place, Chelsea at Wembley but all of those are in the past and the QPR game(especially if Chelsea get something at Arsenal) is the game to see if our players have spines of steel or spines made out of crisps!

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I still believe. I always have and always will! Even when we were 5-1 down to Chelsea the first thing I do is look at how much time is left on the clock and think what if!

So let’s not give up yet lads, NGU(Never give up!)

    • Good attitude mate. I think if we beat QPR we’ll win the rest of our games. But like you say, we need to show our spine if were even going to beat QPR.

  4. Well the season isn’t over yet, we could still “SHIT YOUR SORRY CLUB ALL OVER IT”, whatever that means.

In the meantime, you have given us a great insight into the mind of an Arsenal fan. Cheers.
