One player being linked with a move to Spurs over the long weekend has been West Bromwich Albion’s midfielder Youssuf Mulumbu who claims to have been in talks with Tottenham and Newcastle recently.

“We have already started talking to teams like Newcastle and Tottenham,” Mulumbu is quoted as saying.

“For now, I’m leaving it all in the hands of my agent and I hope to have good surprises on my return from vacation.”

Mulumbu plays as a defensive midfielder and has been with WBA since 2009. At 25, he has 12 caps for DR Congo after appearing for France at under 21 level. It seems that defensive midfield is one area where we are fully covered but would this be a good move for the club?

  1. No wouldn’t get any games would slow the progress of Livermore put our wage bill up and take up a valuble squad place.

    • What progress of Livermore?! The worst player for Tottenham in a while. Infact he makes Jamie (sideways) Redknapp look progressive.
      Mulumbu is just whoreing himself.

  2. our best player for ages and he starts touting himself round like this hope he goes somwhere like tottenham and does not get a look in but will be sorely missed!
