Target number one he may be but it’s thought that Manchester United as still favourites for Lewandowski’s signature and that given the high transfer fee and wages involved, Spurs will quickly drop out of any race.

Assuming Adebayor is a “done” deal, then I’d be happy with any two of; Hulk, Damiao, Adrian Lopez or Rondon. Not long ago you’ll remember Remy was touted for a transfer to WHL but since AVB has come in, that link has gone cold. Obviously AVB doesn’t rate him as much as Redschnapps did (and I’d agree).

chelsea bid for lewandowski according to the papers today and inter say they dont need to sell damaio so im not sure what top striker is available for us – hulk would cost over 35 million and i cant see levy even thinking about that one – unless we strick to what we have in midfield and use the modric money for hulk
