Hudd set for loan deal

by Matthew Harris on August 22, 2012

It seems that of all the possibilities we discussed on here yesterday, Tom Huddlestone’s loan to Stoke and Michael Dawson’s sale to QPR were the right ones.

While Spurs were accepting a bid from Loftus Road for Daws, Hudd was heading up to the Britannia for a medical and the proverbial cat was let out of the bag by Stoke winger Jermaine Pennant.

“He’s going to have a medical later – if it’s all good we have got him till the end of the season,” he said on Twitter.

With Huddlestone and medicals, anything could still happen but it is a sign for fans of Tom that the club haven’t necessarily written off his White Hart Lane future.

the calibre of club taking these two of our hands says it all… hope THudd comes good on loan but Daws has served his time (admirable) for me and decent return on an injury prone player.

Isn’t it time akshayaalase was stopped from useing this site to continually write B–l S–t he needs treament and should see a doctor . Any way back to important Spurs Stuff , I think we should keep Dawson & Gallas because we’ve let Bassong go & we should keep Huddlestone and let Jenus go and it looks like Defore will probably go too because AVB says he wants to keep him along with 2 other strikers who might be Adebayor & Damiao . AVB seems to be making the same mistakes he made at Chelski by pushing out players not many want to see go big mistake.

So it’s quite possible that we’ll have shortly got rid of: Corluka, Kranjcar, Rose, Huddlestone, Dawson, Modric, King, Jenas, Bassong, Pienaar, Khumalo. Reckon Bentley, Gio and Gomes will leave too. That’s 11 out pretty much who have been replaced by Vertongen, Gylfi and Ade.

Clearly we have a ton of cash to spend and AVB’s only going for top top quality. Don’t care who so long as they’re f*ckin brilliant!!
