They think the transfer window’s all over…

But in Turkey, France and Russia it remains open as anyone who was following the incredible Hulk to Zenit St Petersburg deal or the less interesting Raul Meireles to Fenerbahce story will know.

That could yet mean that one of the fringe members of the squad will leave and there are stories emerging this morning that Tom Huddlestone could still make a loan move out of the club. Thudd made a welcome return to first team action at the weekend before his harsh sending off but will he move away for more playing time?

Alternatively, is this a desperate bid for more column inches? The story, which seems to originate in Metro, mentions no club and it merely refers to the fact that the window is still open in certain parts of Europe.

However, while it seems unlikely that Hudd will be a first choice for the starting XI for now, would it be a good move for the club and player to keep looking at a loan?

Pablo Aimer at 32 years old, Hulk is already on his way to Russia and you want the Sig out already.

We have not got the 100m + required to pay for those signings.

You sound like Harry Redknapp…….playing Pro Evo.

Yes….as Danny is indicating, if you are going to spout player targets left, right and centre, then perhaps keeping abreast of the transfer news is a good idea… The more you spout, the less attention you get btw…

Why don’t you just feck off and print another load of names. Go and post on the Man City website, they’ve got mega-rich backers and they can afford your fantasies.

Metro, The Sun, Goal.com & The Daily Fail — I never believe anything that is associated with any of those four so-called ‘reliable’ sources. I agree with the others about akshay……….. he spouts a lot of crap maybe he’s a journalist !!! for one of the above.

No. The squad has lost its 2 most creative players and some fringe quality (Kranj). If Hudd goes, only Dembele remains and if he gets injured, we can look forward to the likes of JJ, Parker, Livermore and Sigs pulling the strings….oh dear we are really short of quality in the middle.

STOP ALL THIS FECKING WHINGING SETTLE DOWN AND SUPPORT THE SPURS FULLY, THE ONLY GRIPE I HAVE IS LEAVING THE FECKING TRANSFERS TO THE LAST SECOND SO LEVY NEVER MIND YOU GETTING YOUR HIGH ON THESE SITUATIONS AND GET THE JOB DONE ASAP COYS ! ! !

Huddlestone looked slow, useless, and clueless. He does not belong on this team. Sell him for whatever you can get, Jenas and Bentley as well. Play the youngsters instead, a la @rse. Carroll, Townsend, Falque, will probably play at least as well and are hungrier. Well, Huddlestone may be literally hungrier, but that’s part of his problem ;)
