They have lost none of their last seven Premier League games against the Villans (W4 D3), and have won 14 and lost just two of their last 21 league matches at White Hart Lane.
By stark contrast, Aston Villa have won just one of their last 16 league games and their haul of just five points after six games is their worst start to a season in the top flight.
That suggests that it should be a case of how many Spurs win by, and I fancy them to do so without reply.
They are a very tasty looking 2.62 with Blue Square and Ladbrokes to win to nil and in the correct score market 3-0 looks worth a punt at 11 with Ladbrokes and Stan James.
So who is going to bag the opener and hopefully fire them to victory?
Well the obvious starting point in the goalcoring markets is Emmanuel Adebayor.
He has scored six goals in eight Premier League starts against Aston – including four in his last three.
Ladbrokes will give you a standout 6 about him netting first and 2.38 about him scoring anytime during the 90 minutes. Both look worth a wager.
Gareth Bale is always a big threat in any game, and looks a big price at 3.25 with Stan James to get on the scoresheet.
