Tottenham’s Adam Smith may have been in contention for a place in Tottenham’s squad at Carrow Road last night but instead, the promising right back has sealed a loan deal with Millwall for the nest three months.
Adam is highly rated but at 21, he’s just a year younger than Kyle Walker while Kyle Naughton is currently providing the cover in his favoured position. Smith enjoyed successful loan periods at Bournemouth and MK Dons which allowed him to break into the England Under 21 side in 2011.
It could be a bright future for Adam but currently there are at least two right backs in his way so the move looks to be a logical one for the time being.
