Hugo Lloris continues to play an important part in Tottenham’s season and another assured display between the posts helped to secure the 2-1 win in Sunday’s London derby.

Spurs now host Inter Milan at White Hart Lane on Thursday before another tough Premier League tie at Anfield and Hugo has warned his team mates of the need to stay focussed.

“The season is not finished. There are 10 games to go so we have to keep concentration and be focused on the end of the season,” said Lloris.

“Of course it’s better to be in this position than Arsenal although we have to keep a lucidity of the situation.

“The most important thing is to be in the Champions League next season and I think we have to keep our ambition.”

The keeper also feels that Liverpool are the form side in the league right now.

“Liverpool are playing maybe the best football in the Premier League at this moment,” Hugo added.

“They proved that in their last game against Wigan. It will be a very difficult game but very exciting game in Anfield.”

After the first Lyon match we had the luxury of a blank league weekend but this time, Spurs will face one of their hardest away fixtures in the wake of the Milan game. Lloris himself is unlikely to feature on Thursday but will AVB be tempted to rest more of his first team squad ahead of Sunday’s vital clash?

  1. i hope avb uses his brain and has lloris in goal in all of the games , we got no chance winning europa with friedel , accident waiting to happen , not like lloris needs a rest is it

  2. Well done Hugo. I’m sure that the other players would’ve learned from the devastation of last season that the season is 38 games not 28. More hard work to go and experienced players like Hugo will keep on at the others to ensure their performance levels don’t drop
