Argentine striker Lisandro Lopez has been an alleged target for Spurs for some time now but the rumours of a deal have gathered pace with reports that the 30 year old has admitted his time at Lyon is up.

“I don’t think it is possible for me to continue here,” said Lopez.

“Before the end of the season I’m going to meet with the president and the coach and we’ll see.”

Lopez has been with the French outfit since 2009 and in that time has notched 79 goals in 156 games in all competitions. At almost exactly a goal a game, he could fit the requirements for our club and at 30, the transfer fee involved my not be as steep as with some of the other names mentioned this month.

So Lisandro Lopez at Spurs – yes or no?
