It’s been a while since the Incredible Hulk was mentioned in connection with a move to White Hart Lane and after spending the last year earning top dollar in Russia, it seems even less likely that we will ever see the Brazilian striker in a Lilywhite shirt.

However, that’s not a view shared by the player’s agent Teodoro Fonseca who has talked up the possibility of a switch to North London after praising his client’s former boss Andre Villas-Boas.

Asked about a move to Tottenham Fonseca said: “It’s normal that this could arise because Hulk’s best time was under Andre Villas-Boas.”

He also went on to claim that approaches had already been made.

“Two big clubs in the Premier League have enquired about Hulk,” he added.

His arrival in Russia sparked a split among squad members who were unhappy at the size of his wage packet. Despite scoring 11 times and making eight assists in the RPL, Hulk has now fallen out with Zenit manager Luciano Spalletti and a move away from Russia seems certain but could it ever be destination White Hart Lane for Hulk?

  1. On what wages and at what price? just because you know somebody from the past and got on with them does not pay their wages. I believe a 4-3-3 system would be amazing with Hulk in but think this is a no go and wish for thinking COYS

  2. I reckon your get him, he will right in to your comic strip full of a load of fucking Walter Mitty Plebs. COME ON YOU IRONS!

Chim Chim Chermidtable…… your dreams…….your be in a relegation battle next season.

  3. Haha hammer fans were getting linked with hulk and villa and your marquee signing ladies and gentlemen David Bentley lol oh I’m jealous I’m not sitting in the Olympic stadium now

    • didn’t realise we were getting taken over by a russian billionaire! also love how di maria is a regular starter for madrid but would only make our bench!?

  5. On a more serious note, hulk would be an amazing signing but there’s no chance levy would bankrupt us over this one,I think the damiao deal could be more realistic and finally come off this summer

  6. Personally, I don’t rate the guy particularly highly, and ESPECIALLY for the price/s he has gone for in the past.

This summer is NOT about necessarily spending big, but more about spending wisely!

There are cheaper and better alternatives….including Andros Townsend. I still think we could do with a winger/wide-man but Hulk wouldn’t even make my wish-list!!!

  7. Haha akshayaalase, the transfer window and your teams go hand in hand. I actually quite like that team. I see you have us selling Bale and getting Di Maria and Coentrão in the deal. You know, i really want Bale to stay but i want him to stay for many years, not just the one extra year. So i’m completely split as to what is the right thing to do now, if all we are doing is prolonging the inevitable. A front line of Hulk Damiao Bale would be very interesting. But it’s a pipe dream.
