It’s been a while since the Incredible Hulk was mentioned in connection with a move to White Hart Lane and after spending the last year earning top dollar in Russia, it seems even less likely that we will ever see the Brazilian striker in a Lilywhite shirt.
However, that’s not a view shared by the player’s agent Teodoro Fonseca who has talked up the possibility of a switch to North London after praising his client’s former boss Andre Villas-Boas.
Asked about a move to Tottenham Fonseca said: “It’s normal that this could arise because Hulk’s best time was under Andre Villas-Boas.”
He also went on to claim that approaches had already been made.
“Two big clubs in the Premier League have enquired about Hulk,” he added.
His arrival in Russia sparked a split among squad members who were unhappy at the size of his wage packet. Despite scoring 11 times and making eight assists in the RPL, Hulk has now fallen out with Zenit manager Luciano Spalletti and a move away from Russia seems certain but could it ever be destination White Hart Lane for Hulk?
