At the start of transfer deadline day it was thought that Spurs could lose up to four players to QPR but with less than an hour to go it seems as though Benoit Assou-Ekotto could be the only man to leave through the exit door – and only on a season long loan.

A committed Tweeter, Benny has been at it again this evening beating the 24 news channel to the information.

“Let’s go to QPR! I’ll keep one eye on u spurs hv good luck this season.”

As at 10.00pm there’s no confirmation from either club but it looks as if this deal is done – question is, will anyone else join BAE at Loftus Road?

  1. Can’t believe we’ve let Benny go without a replacement. We have no cover at left back. Is Rose gonna play 50 games, he could break his keg next week.

  2. Surely this is some sort of sick joke. Benny is better then Rose but even if I’m wrong…we need the cover! People will say we can just put Jan over there, but that’s bollocks . Aces in their places.
At the end of the day, in AVB we trust… but this one is weird to me. Can we call him back at any time? I hope so. Danny has come a long way in the past year but to hand him the starter spot with no competition is asking for trouble.

  3. Vlad Chiriches can play there. Any solution is better than Naughton at left-back. Not convinced by Rose yet but it’s early days.
