The papers suggest that Danny Rose could make the starting XI for Spurs with the left back facing a late fitness test ahead of the Everton game on Sunday. Should Danny come through, his return on the left side of defence may well be the only change from the side that just claimed the three points from Hull City last weekend.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Younes Kaboul may be among those pressing for a start after the Capital One Cup game in midweek but it’s hard to see who will make way. Lewis Holtby may be one man feeling the pressure but while last Sunday’s victory was less than impressive, does anyone really deserve to lose their place?

  8. ive seen alot of spurs teams assembled by various manergers but this current team is as good as any and i can see great things in the coming years so thanks avb and mr levy and of course our very wealthy owner coys

  9. Anyone selecting Kaboul is crazy. He is still not fully fit and why risk him when he was only supposed to play 60mins in his last game and played double the time and was sore after. I want him back fully fit and not breaking down again. I would make only 1 change to the team mentioned on here and that would put eriksen in for paulinho just as he was very tired too after wedensdays game and holtby can slot in with erisken just in front.

  10. I fail to see how Lennon is making everyone’s starting 11.. Been injured all season and comes straight back into the first team… :-/ my 11 woul be.. Lloris walker chiriches Dawson vertonghen.. Sandro paulinho… Townsend Eriksen siggy.. Soldado.. Although I can see a few changes after midweek cup game going to et and pens..

  16. We are playing Everton away…..
    Not the time to try Holtby and Eriksen at the same time.
    We need to be solid in midfield. So at two holding midfielders. Paulinho is getting a bit over worked at the moment. Therefore maybe leave him out (only this once, I like him a lot) and play Debmbele and Sandro.
    This year is SO much fun writing about our starting XI. We have a fantastic squad.

  18. Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Chiriches, Jan, Townsend, Sandro, Dembele, Holtby, Siggy, Soldado. I want to find a place for Kane, maybe replace Holtby?

I would go with doyins team apart from Townsend in for Lennon if fit I think holtby and dembele would work well also and we need to go and attack teams not just mindlessly keep the ball as tottenham have many times this season IMO. Everton are a great team so lets hope the team begin to gel bit more on Sunday

Townsend siggy eriksen…. soldado….. pauly has played many games… I believe sandro can handle lukaku & dis lineup is more attacking & I bet avb won’t play dis lineup… he ll play with 2 holding midfielders & max we wil get is a draw- mark my words
