Mousa Dembele could join Andros Townsend, Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul on the injury list ahead of today’s game with West Brom at White Hart Lane. The Belgian limped out of Sunday’s win at Southampton and will have a late test before the 3pm kick off.
“We’re pretty much as we were against Southampton,” said new head Coach Tim Sherwood.
“Mousa limped off after 50 minutes at Southampton, so we’ll have to assess him. Otherwise, we’ll go with what we’ve got available – and that’s not a bad team!”
With Paulinho suspended, there are problems for Sherwood in regards to defensive midfield although the news on the club website doesn’t mention Sandro. If the Brazilian is fit then surely he will start.
Tim could and would probably be happy to throw Nabil Bentaleb into the side to deputise for Dembele again and elsewhere in midfield, Nacer Chadli might just get the nod ahead of Erik Lamela.
Defence and Attack should be straightforward so here’s how we think it will start. What’s your view?

agree with that, although siggy has a goal or two in him it doesn’t cover up the fact he does absolutely nothing of note over 90 minutes more often than not. admittedly he’s out of position but with that logic I’d rather see holtby put there if anyone has to play out of position

Lamela instead of Siggy would be my only change. Dawson is in solely because there is no-one else but having the turning circle of a rhino and speed of a snail worries me even against this lot !! Should never have sold Caulker cos we could do with him now having watched Dawsons performances and Kabouls lack of them !!
