Spurs new head coach Mauricio Pochettino gave his first interview, in English, since taking over at the club and he described his appointment as an ‘absolute honour’. The Argentinian also talked about his coaching staff and confirmed that Steffen Freund would continue as part of the White Hart Lane set up.
“We will try to give everything to make you proud of this football club,” Pochettino said.
“We can only expect from the players full commitment & positive attitude.”

lamela and Soldado are typical Spurs players. Through the years, and I have many years to draw on, we have often had enigmatic and sometimes difficult players, Spurs do not do ordinary, we leave that to the Scum.
