Once the World Cup is finished, pre-season will be firmly upon us and it won’t be long before Spurs are in action on the field – even if it isn’t necessarily in a competitive sense. Tottenham’s tour of the US begins with a match against Seattle Sounders next Saturday – 12th of July, and fringe goalkeeper Jordan Archer is one of those hoping to be involved.
“They’ve been playing for a while now so they’ll be up to speed,” Archer said on the club’s official website.
“We’re obviously in pre-season but they’ll be firing and ready to go at us.
“The football is always improving over there so you know it will be good for us to play against those three teams.”
It might be interesting to see Archer involved but the bigger question for Spurs fans is whether there will be any new faces in the squad that travels to the US next week.
