He’s back from Togo but while his reasons for returning to his homeland remain a mystery, areas of the press seem convinced that Emmanuel Adebayor has played his last game for Spurs. With Harry Kane finding the net on a regular basis, the only opportunity for Mauricio Pochettino to give his fringe players a run out would come in tomorrow night’s league cup tie with Newcastle and as the coach confirmed, it’s a little too early for Ade to feature.

“He was back yesterday (Monday), but play tomorrow? No.

“He began training after one week yesterday so it would be impossible for him to be ready tomorrow.”

From then, the league dominates until the transfer window opens in January and the feeling is that Tottenham’s patience has finally run out. The question is, if Emmanuel Adebayor is put up for sale would there actually be any takers?

  1. Frozen out? Lol. Whoever wrote this is as dumb as they come. If he was frozen out he would not be training.

There is also no mystery as to why he went home to Togo. Pochettino himself stated that Adebayor left for family health reasons. Do some research. I’m in America and I know this.

    Pure lazy journalism.
