It’s not long until the North London derby and we’ve picked our Spurs side to face Arsenal.
Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker and Jan Vertonghen pick themselves. Completing the defence are Danny Rose, who is picked for his pace ahead of Ben Davies and Eric Dier over Federico Fazio.
Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason start in central midfield but the real dilemmas come further forward. Mousa Dembele has been in fine form, yet the defensive ability of Nacer Chadli could be vital. Chadli would be in our side on the left, with Christian Eriksen centre.
That leaves a three-way tussle on the right. Erik Lamela is overlooked because of his habit of defending terribly against the best sides and while Dembele is an option on the right, we’d take a chance on Andros Townsend to complete the midfield, with Harry Kane leading the line up front.

Don’t see how you can leave out Dembele with his last two performances,if Lamela starts we lose simple as . Fazio is dynamite in the air but the scum play it on the ground, the only reason I would start Fazio is to feel with that lanky german twat who has a nasty habit of getting on the end of corners, would want Mason , kane Rose and Townsend playing all Spurs supporters and will really put a shift in

I find it slighty dissappointing that no matter which Tottenham sites and forums you visit, a solid 50% of the fans still consistently misspell Eriksens name. He isn’t exactly a fringe player, you’d imagine that Tottenham fans would get their star players name right one of these days.
We did not lose with Lamela at Emirates, so wonder how anyone knows we’d lose if he plays. My team.
