Harry Kane scored his 30th goal of the season as Tottenham beat Newcastle United 3-1 at St James’ Park.
It was the striker’s 20th league goal of the campaign, sealing the points late on for Spurs after goals from Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen either side of Jack Colback’s strike for the hosts.
It was never in doubt when Kane broke free after a counter-attack constructed by Ryan Mason and Erik Lamela. Here’s how Twitter reacted…

It's not 30 goals for the season for Harry Kane, it's 30 goals since November. Remarkable.

20 – Harry Kane is only the fourth Tottenham player to hit 20+ goals in a PL season after Bale, Klinsmann & Sheringham. Marksman.
