Roberto Soldado flew out to Spain this morning to complete a £12m move to Villarreal and the good news is that a replacement in making the opposite journey.

Clinton Njie has been pictured flying into London as he looks to finalise his move to White Hart Lane.

The signing of Njie will give a boost to a Tottenham squad that had no recognised strikers on the bench in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United. With Njie likely to play on the wing as much as he does as a striker, another forward is likely to be joining him before long.

  1. D previous forwards have been given enough time…not performing..they have to move on to another team to resurrect.
Spurs now will improve that weakness n bring in fresh talented youngish strikers who are not afraid to strike.n to gel with a young Spurs team with experienced valuable players n a good manager n dedicated boss.
    Come on ye Spurs

  2. Good when njie signs we should go all out to get berahino and christoh Kramer another attacking midfielder too if we manage to offload Lennon and townsand we will more than likely be stuck withe the blood sucking parasite leech adebayor unfortunately

  3. Berahino is not worth the price WBA are asking It’s obvious they want to keep him. I respect that. Saido has not put in a transfer request so we should have been concentrating our efforts elsewhere. Rumours have it MP has now closed the book on strikers. Seems two or three of our ‘attacking’ midfielders will be expected to pick up the slack. That would be fine, however, I haven’t read from any of my sources, of our midfielders consistently running into the opposition box, trying to disrupt the defences or threatening to score let alone shoot on target. Perhaps this is still work in progress?
