Sunderland had the better of the chances for the majority of their clash with Spurs, but it was the visitors who turned it on late in the game, winning the match thanks to a lovely Ryan Mason goal.

Tottenham struggled with their passing for the most part until a wonderful flowing move involving substitute Erik Lamela resulted in Ryan Mason finding himself through on goal. The midfielder slotted the ball home with ease, earning all three points for his side.
