There’s a few noticeable changes in Tottenham’s starting eleven for their trip to Anderlecht. Mauricio Pochettino has seen sense and realised Harry Kane needs a rest, so Clinton N’Jie makes his first start for the club as a lone striker.
Eric Dier returns to the side following the suspension that saw him miss last weekend’s 0-0 draw against Liverpool. He is partnered by Mousa Dembele in central midfield.
Ben Davies replaces Danny Rose at left back, despite some confusion after the official Spurs Twitter accounted claimed Rose was both starting and on the bench. Kieran Trippier comes in for Kyle Walker on the opposite site.
There was plenty of reaction to the team news on Twitter. Here’s the best of it.

A much needed rest for Harry Kane. Since scoring at Villa on 02/11/14, he's played 4646 of a possible 5670 mins for #THFC, England and U21s.

Happy to see Alli's rested and Dembele rewarded for his fine showing on Saturday. Former earned a break, of that there is no doubt.
