Tottenham thrashed Bournemouth and moved up to sixth place in the Premier League table thanks to a Harry Kane hat-trick. Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela also scored in a memorable 5-1 win for Spurs.
Matt Ritchie opened the scoring for the hosts inside a minute, but goals from Kane, Dembele and Lamela put Tottenham 3-1 up after half an hour. Kane then scored twice in the second half to complete his treble.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result and Kane’s performance.
One season wonder my arse, mate.

Welcome back @hkane28 . A nice little nice hat-trick. It was only a matter of time.

Kane back amongst the goals with a real striker's hat-trick, 4 PL goals already & we haven't hit November yet, defenders be aware!

Excellent win and great to thrash a side we should be beating, rather than a close win. Delighted for @hkane28!

Unbeaten in nine, with one loss in the league all season. Joint best defence in the league, and fifth highest scores. WE'RE DOOMED.

A good win. A few gifts willingly accepted. Harry back among the goals, 1 defeat in 10 league games, Son to return soon. Not too shabby

Eriksen's early season injury feels now like a welcome enforced break. He's been excellent since his return.
