Tottenham ran riot in their final game of the Europa League group stage, thrashing Monaco 4-1 at White Hart Lane.
Erik Lamela opened the scoring inside two minutes, and added a second soon after. The Argentine was Spurs’ best performer on the night, completing his hat-trick before half time with a powerful finish with his weaker foot.
Monaco got one back after the break, but the hosts were in cruise control for much of the second half. Tom Carroll eventually added a fourth late on.
