Mauricio Pochettino has made four changes to the team that beat Norwich City 3-0 in midweek for the visit of Watford.
Kieran Trippier, Ben Davies, Erik Lamela and Nacer Chadli all come in, while Dele Alli only makes the bench. It could simply be rotation, but perhaps Alli is only among the substitutes because of the dizziness that forced him off at Carrow Road on Tuesday.
Ryan Mason is also on the bench after returning from a long term injury. Here’s how Twitter reacted to all the team news.

#thfc Strange to see Alli on the bench. Surely he's either fit or not fit. Still, Chadli is on good form. https://t.co/9LpEZWWvZm

Some sensible rotation today by Pochettino. Deeney only on the bench for Watford. https://t.co/QArQ6NTeHy

Good XI, shame to see Alli on the bench but coincides with the rest he perhaps needed. Gutted to be missing the game. #COYS

Interesting… Not the team I'd have picked but them I'm not MP. Solid looking mind #COYS #THFC #Spurs #Tottenham #Lillywhite

The team picked can definitely do a job. Great depth at the moment.

Alli is not as impactful at home so wise to leave him on the bench after his dizzy spell. Walker can't play 2 games a week. 352?

Great team selection by Pochettino. Wonder if Walker isn't fully fit. #thfc #COYS

I am pretty happy with the rotation myself, still plenty going forward. #COYS

Chadli starting could go either way for me. Been in decent form in cup but can go missing in the league…#thfc #COYS

Watford will be thrilled to see Alli on the bench. This will be a very tough game #COYS

Dele alli being out gives us the chance to play Eriksen in his right position #COYS

Win today and we're second in the league. SECOND. No pressure #COYS

We have a chance to go second in the league by today. FOCUS…..FOCUS……and FOCOS 101% on every game is just my word and play your normal game out there. Just follow Poch’s instructions and stay tight at defence and midfield. Dembele needs to give support to the the two CB too because there are facing a much more resilience team. Be careful of their front 2 men of Deeney and Ighalo. COYS!
Not good enough in the 1st half, someone needs to step up and do something in this game. We need to open up their defence and play more compact one or two touch quick football in and around their box. Instead of shooting towards goal, a few that ha been save by Gomes, place the ball into the net. Read the goalie’s position and Dembele needs to attack towards goal more by himself. In this scenario, Kane and Lamela are being marked and is the opportunity for him to nick a goal or 2. For about Chadli, Son needs to come in for him in the 2nd half before is too late.
