Tottenham picked up where they left off after the break at White Hart Lane, grabbing a third against visitors Bournemouth through Christian Eriksen.
Harry Kane scored twice in a comfortable first half for Spurs. The striker almost grabbed a hat-trick early in the second, but his shot was parried. Thankfully the rebound fell to Eriksen who made no mistake from close range.
Bournemouth had come out much improved after their tepid first half display, so the hosts’ third goal was crucial.
