Mauricio Pochettino has given an interview with a French radio station in which he confirmed Tottenham’s interest in the Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.
Batshuayi has long been linked with a move to White Hart Lane and Pochettino had this to say about the Belgian international.
“We are looking for a striker this summer, that’s clear. Michy ‘s a young player who has a lot of talent.
“It is on the list of many clubs. We have quite a people who have given us information about it. It has good potential. We’ll see.
“We have other players in our viewfinder. Michy is among those that we target. We’ll see how things develop.”
The 22-year old has scored 20 goals for Marseille this season and would be a much needed alternative to Harry Kane should he make the switch this summer. Watch him in action below.
