Reports from Croatia claim that Spurs are ready to make a £10m bid for the Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric.
The Croatian newspaper SN have reported that Tottenham scouts have been watching the 19-year old and have put aside £10m to bring him to White Hart Lane.
Liverpool are also said to be interested in Coric, with Jurgen Klopp having reportedly spoken to the Croatian U21 international in an effort to persuade him to move to Anfield, with the Merseysiders said to be willing to pay £11.5m.
Coric turned down the advances of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Chelsea at the age of 12 to instead move to Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. At 16 he returned to his home with Dinamo Zagreb and has impressed sufficiently to have a good chance of making the Croatia squad for Euro 2016.
The interest of managers such as Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino, demonstrates the industry that the young midfielder has in his locker, which is allied to an ability on the ball that has seen Coric likened to David Silva. Watch him in action below.
