Vincent Janssen finally signed for Spurs today to end weeks of speculation.
No one was happier at this news than the Tottenham fans, who have not seen the club sign a striker since the August 2013 purchase of Roberto Soldado.
Hopefully Janssen’s move will prove to be more of a success. Spurs supporters certainly seem in an optimistic mood on Twitter.

Spurs did look at other options, including Icardi and Sanabria, especially when first bid was rejected, but Janssen was the one they wanted.

We actually bought a new striker, lads.
This is not a drill.
This is real life stuff.

Just grateful we have a new striker in Vincent Janssen. Harry Kane doesn't have to retire from burnout at 25

Janssen and Wanyama will have cost the club £30 million. Expect sales very soon. #THFC

Janssen may have scored his goals in a comparably weak league but encouraging a) he's done so in a relatively unfancied side b) & intl level

The amount of arsenal fans that wanted Janssen a week ago and are now dubbing him a pub league fraud is glorious #COYS

Janssen's called Spurs "The Beautiful Club" about 5 times already the little flirt. Won me over already #COYS
