Vincent Janssen finally signed for Spurs today to end weeks of speculation.
No one was happier at this news than the Tottenham fans, who have not seen the club sign a striker since the August 2013 purchase of Roberto Soldado.
Hopefully Janssen’s move will prove to be more of a success. Spurs supporters certainly seem in an optimistic mood on Twitter.

Spurs did look at other options, including Icardi and Sanabria, especially when first bid was rejected, but Janssen was the one they wanted.
