Reports claim that Spurs are ready to sell Dominic Ball.

The 21-year old impressed in a defensive midfield position while on loan at Rangers last season, but with the club having brought Victor Wanyama in alongside England international Eric Dier, competition for this role is fierce.

Rangers are said to be interested in bringing Ball back to Scotland, while Leeds United are also rumoured to be ready to make a move.

Ball failed to impress Mauricio Pochettino in pre-season, suffering a particularly poor game against Juventus, in which he made an error for the opening goal in a 2-0 defeat.

Now it seems that Pochettino has decided that it’s time to sell Ball, rather than send him out on another loan.

With neither Leeds or Rangers having the financial clout that they once enjoyed, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham’s valuation could put them off. Any deal then is likely to be heavily performance-based and to include a hefty sell-on fee.

  1. Possible, but unlikely. Why would Poch mentioned him, along with Carter-Vickers and Walkes, as players who can cover centre-back position then?
He might still be loaned out though.
    COYS!
