Erik Lamela headed in a well worked goal to draw Tottenham level with Everton at Goodison Park.

Ross Barkley had given the hosts the lead in the first half while Spurs struggled to find their flow in the opening 45 minutes.

The visitors weren’t helped by a hamstring injury for Hugo Lloris, which forced the goalkeeper off.

But the introduction of new boy Vincent Janssen changed things after the break. Tottenham looked a different side, and their pressure paid off when Erik Lamela nodded in an excellent Kyle Walker cross.
