Christian Eriksen has signed a new contract, keeping him at Spurs until 2020.
The Dane’s wages will increase from £30,000 to £75,000-a-week. Eriksen’s decision ends a lengthy negotiation period and sees him become one of the top earners at the club.
“There is a great future at this place and I wouldn’t have signed if I didn’t see that,” said the 24-year old.
“It’s a very good group, players who connect with each other, staff who connect with the players.
“We all have an idea of where we want to end, and hopefully we’ll achieve that.”
Tottenham fans were quick to celebrate another major talent committing their future to the club. Here’s how they reacted on Twitter.

Kane, Lamela, Jan etc will rightly want parity with Eriksen. Very important to have pay parity to ensure harmony in the group.

Eriksen deserves that contract more than anyone. Stuck around when he could've got a bigger move. People doubting him can do one #COYS

Christian Eriksen has averaged a goal or assist once every 180 minutes in the Premier League for Spurs (23 goals, 23 assists).

Totally agree with you Katherine so pleased Christian as finally signed and he said he’s happy at Spurs so it was just a matter of time getting it sorted , our fans are quite fickle and of short memory , the work rate he gets through in he’s position.and anybody who has played the game before , your only as good as the players around you !! So they have to find the space to help him find it. … Where people have criticised him. About that aspect I love him. C o y s.
Come on Christian
Maybe now he will pull his finger out and start producing after some very below par games this season so far
