As one of the greatest attacking players to have graced the Premier League, Matt Le Tissier knows a few things about what makes a great playmaker.
So it was perhaps no surprise that the Southampton legend rated the performance of Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen against Stoke, over other candidates such as goalscorers Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son.
Le Tissier was analysing the 4-0 thrashing of Stoke for Sky Sports and named Eriksen as his man of the match. Our own pundit Steve Jennings rated Eriksen level with Son, while our current fan ratings have the South Korean just ahead of the Dane.
