Tottenham fought hard to earn a point at West Brom after inevitably going 1-0 down to a Nacer Chadli goal.
The former Spurs player scored with minutes remaining to give the hosts the lead, but Dele Alli scored even later to level things up.
The visitors had dominated in the first half but quietened after the break and were punished for their slackness. Matters were made worse when Toby Alderweireld was stretchered off with a serious looking injury.
But the supporters will be relatively pleased to leave the Midlands with a point after a difficult day. Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result and performance.
Nacer Chadli scores against Spurs, has anything ever been more inevitable?

Let's face it if you didn't have a slight feeling Chadli would score and we'd be losing 1-0 after dominating, you ain't Spurs ?? #scripted

All he does is score goals.

Written in the stars. Could only be Chadli. This is what makes football such a cruel mistress #WBATOT

So much wailing from #THFC fans. It’s a long season and we don’t have a right to win games. Calm yourselves or better still, grow up.

Well, I'd have taken a point when 1-0 down in the 88th minute but that's definitely 2 points dropped. And the Spurs go marching on…. #COYS

I'll take that in the end but so frustrating. Let's hope Toby's injury isn't too serious ? #COYS

SILVER LINING: We definitely would've lost that game pre-Poch. Chadli goal would've finished us. Made of sterner stuff these days.
