It was all so inevitable when former Tottenham player Nacer Chadli gave West Brom the lead against his former club late on at the Hawthorns.

The Belgian swept the ball home from close range and it looked like the hosts had done enough for all three points.

That was until Dele Alli equalised with two minutes left on the clock to earn a point for Spurs.

It was a brilliantly taken goal by Alli, who controlled it well and finished beautifully past Ben Foster into the bottom corner.

Here’s the goal.

  1. A frustrating result…our conversion rate (shots on target/goals scored) was poor last season (3rd from bottom) even though only MANC scored more than us.
This season is starting to look depressingly similar.
Not much width in attack today, both Walker & Davies restrained so I’m assuming this was the game plan, especially as nothing changed in the 2nd half.
That said the response after conceding says much for the positive mentality of the team.
