A frustrated Mauricio Pochettino has given his press conference after Tottenham’s defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.

Chief on the agenda was Wembley and whether playing at the stadium was a hindrance to Spurs, with Pochettino adamant that the problem was with the team rather than the venue.

Mousa Demebele’s substitution was also discussed. The manager explained that the midfielder was taken off with an ankle injury.

Another issue that Pochettino was quizzed upon was whether the team were struggling with the demands of competing in both the Champions League and Premier League.
